Gathering Feedback
Everybody knows that honest feedback is vital to a successful product development process, but you can’t ask just anyone for their opinions. You have to ask people who are neutral and unbiased to ensure that you get responses that actually help you create a good-quality product. In this vlog, Aaron’s going over some of the feedback from our first round of samples.

But first, a question we get asked every day: Why is the chemist (otherwise known as our personal Walter White) anonymous? The answer is that he’s kind of a big deal! In fact, he works for several big-name brands and travels the world to help develop skin care products. He chose to work with us because Tiege Hanley’s Co-Founder Rob Hoxie is actually a good friend of his, and also because he believes in our mission—to create premium men’s skin care products without the massive markup.

After distributing samples to viewers to aggregate real-life feedback, the results are finally in. Aaron goes over some of the responses in this week’s video.
We distributed our morning moisturizer to two viewers. They found that the formula was great—not super thick, not oily or greasy and it didn’t make the skin shiny. The testers also loved how the formula didn’t have a strong or overpowering odor. Another tester reviewed the Tiege Hanley exfoliating scrub, saying that the product works as expected and felt great on the skin.
Next up: eye cream. The sample recipient reported that the lightweight cream disappeared quickly and left behind no shine. He also likened it to Kiehl’s Facial Formula Gel. Two viewers also tried the Tiege Hanley face serum, reporting that it helped reduce acne (even though the product isn’t specifically designed for acne). Another user noted that the serum felt greasy for the first couple of minutes but that the feeling quickly went away.
